Scary remake of the classic Sam Raimi movie The Evil Dead.

30 years after Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead, a cult film in his filmography, comes this remake, Evil Dead, shot by a different team but with Raimi, Rob Tapert and Bruce Campbell as producers.

But Evil Dead outside of the story, has littleto do with the previous Evil Dead, and not just for the obvious improvement of special effects at this time, if not for its vocation as a psychological horror rather than "slasher" B series movie as was the original.

And they have succeeded, making Evil Dead a film that's undoubtedly frightening. Converting this story of five twentysomethings who take refuge in a remote cabin where they discover "The Book of the Dead", and awaken the demons that inhabit the forests nearby, into one of the most harrowing films of recent times.
